Amrita Vidyalayam students felicitated

KOCHI: The two-day seminar on ‘Cinema Tomorrow-An Advent of the Digital Era’ organised by the Media Association of Amrita and Department of Visual Media, Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, Kochi, was inaugurated by film director Jayaraj on Sunday.

Students of Amrita Vidyalayam, Kerala, who secured high marks in the CBSE examinations were felicitated at the function. Jayaraj and P Vijayachandran, educational consultant, distributed the gold and silver medals.

Sruthi U K of Amrita Vidyalayam, Palakkad, who secured 98 percent, marks in the CBSE 10th standard, was also felicitated at the function.

Pavitramrita Chaithanya, chief coordinator of Amrita Vidyalayams, delivered benedictory address.

Amrita School of Arts and Sciences director U Krishnakumar, Gurupriyamrita Chaithanya and Bhaktipriyamrita Chaithanya, principal of Amrita School of Arts and Sciences spoke on the occasion.

Later, there was a lecture demonstration on ‘Cinematography in Beta Format’ by noted cinematographer Sunny Joseph.
