Adequate support for infrastructure lacking : Yashwant Sinha

Kochi, Mar3 : The Former Union Finance Minister, Mr Yashwant Sinha has said  that the Central Budget did not give adequate support to the infrastructure  and housing sectors.


Speaking at a meeting organised jointly by the Cochin Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Kerala Management Association here to discuss the budget, Mr Sinha said that adequate allocations for highway development had not been made.


Besides several decisions such as introduction of tax on withdrawal of money through ATM etc. would hit the common people and small traders, he added.
