Thiruvananthapuram: The ABVP will celebrate the centenary of Vande Mataram on September 12 in all schools across the State since the centenary day of the song was holiday for educational institutions. Speaking to reporters here on Saturday, ABVP State secretary VP Rajeevan said that State Government should make its stand clear on the reciting Vande Mataram in schools. He alleged the Government with its silence was agreeing with the stand taken by HRD Minister Arjun Singh and Muslim League leader E Ahmed. He said that the ABVP would organise seminars and talks to propagate the value of the song.
