ABVP bags all General seats in Vivekananda College

Thrissur: Sweeping all General seats in Vivekananda College, Kunnamkulam in Calicut University elections, ABVP came second in the District.

In many Traditional strongholds of SFI and KSU, ABVP’s growth is highly remarkable. In majority of the seats ABVP gave a tough competition to SFI and came second pushing down other student organisations including KSU and AISF.

In the tough competition ABVP grabbed 13 General seats while AISF and KSU could only manage to get 4 and 3 seats respectively. ABVP bagged the Chairman seat in Sreekrishna College Guruvayoor, Seat of General Captain in SN College Nattika etc were other stunning victories apart from it’s thumping victory in Vivekananda College.

The growth of ABVP owe to meticulous work of its leaders and activists in the campus in the day to day issues of students. Most of the campuses are controlled by SFI with it’s high handedness and muscle power and the growth of Parishad in campuses is a clear indication that Students got fed up with the violence promoted by comrades and their leaning towards the true nationalistic Student organisation.
