Rally for Social Justice Will Lead to Renaissance of Hindu Community: Sasikala Teacher

Ambalavayal: “It is for the rebirth and resuscitation of the entire Hindu society that the March for Social Justice has been convened,” said Sasikala Teacher, who spearheaded the march. She was addressing a large gathering at Pazhassi, where a rousing welcome was given to the social rally that was jointly convened by Hindu Aikyavedi and Society for Implementation of Social Justice.

The gathering held at Ambalavayal, the sole reception point in Wayanad District, which was inaugurated by Palliyara Raman. The meeting was convened by District Sanghchalak of Rashtreeya Swayamsevak Sangh MM Damodaran. The welcome speech vote of thanks was delivered by Distrcit Secretary of Hindu Aikya Vedi, Muraleedharan and KP Haridas respectively.

The rally was given a grand welcome from Ayiramkolli and was led further into the town. This marked the beginning of the rally that has made its cry against religious fundamentalist terrorism very clear: the same terrorism that is now surging into the Indian soil from other foreign lands. Leading the rally Sasikala Teacher said that many Hindu leaders belonging to both ruling front and opposition in Kerala share the apprehensions raised by Hindu organisations, silently among themselves. Due to their commitments and limitations in the alien ideologies they follow, they cannot express their anguish.

The rally, she stated, will now plunge itself visibly against the efforts being made by both UDF and LDF in offering Kerala politics to the Muslim community. “The rally will, for sure, instill courage and fortitude in to Hindu minds and make them declare publically that those Hindus, who are living in abject poverty and hunger, too have the right to live. The ruling parties have, till now, raised issues of caste sentiments for cheap temporary gains and have extorted the rights from members of the Hindu community. But today the Hindu stands dejected. He stands bereft of all rights. Even the Hindu who had once received reservation status is now ill at ease.

The Communist Party has once again proved that deprived sections among Hindus will all be placed as ornamental monuments by them, for selfish party highlights. This is the sole reason why today, we never see, among the deprived class, those wearing the traditional Purdah and Chatta/Mundu. The instructions handed out by the Congress Party are being implemented, but it never catered to any solacing factor for the deeply wounded and upset Hindu. There was no one to even give a thought to what travails the Hindu underwent.

The rally we have now launched is the voice of the Hindu, which will ring out clear and loud. It will reach Thiruvananthapuram, where it will assume the form of a mass conflagration,” said Sasikala Teacher.
