#KeralaFlood is a #ManMadeDisaster and no pride in begging for foreign donations ; says Metro Man E. Sreedharan

Chief advisor of Delhi Metro Corporation E Sreedharan has remarked that accepting foreign aid for internal relief operations is not a matter that one make one proud. India is a country with an estimated wealth of twelve thousand lakh crore rupees and Kerala, for the purpose of rebuilding the state, should constitute an independent body, he said.

“Inaccuracies in weather forecast and disproportionate water repository are some of the main causes if the flood. Many a times, weather forecast turns out erroneous, because of which people lose faith in them. Also there was no need to keep the water accumulated in the dam. If weather forecasts were in the right direction, water from the dams could have been released earlier,” remarked Sreedharan.
