Absconding Paedophile Madrassa Teacher Under Arrest

Sreekandapuram (Kannur): Shamsheer, a pedophile Madrassa teacher has been arrested after being on the run for 10 years. A complaint was lodged by the victim’s family in 2006, after he sexually assaulted the minor victim several times. He was declared an absconding criminal in 2010, by Thalassery Court in 2010, after he fled to the Gulf.
According to sources, Shamsheer is said to have befriended the victim while he was teaching as a Madrassa teacher in Peruvalathu Parambil.
The arrest was made following a tip off, about the offender having returned to native shores from the Gulf.
