Victim of Madrassa Abuse, says Movie Director Ali Akbar
Thiruvananthapuram: Movie director Ali Akbar has come up with a fine rejoinder to the statement of Kanthapuram Abubacker Mussaliar, who vehemently denied any sort of child abuse in Madrassas. Ali Akbar made an open statement about being a victim of child sex abuse in a madrassa and that the tutor who had subject him to the torture was still alive. Ali Akbar posed an open challenge to Kanthapuram, stating that he was prepared to furnish the required proof to substantiate his statements.
Ali Akbar said that he had “as a child, remained silent about the matter out of fear. The nightmarish incident tormented him with fear for days together and still disturbs him mentally when he remembers the same. The man who tortured me is now a very prominent person in society. No one will ever believe if anyone state sthat madrassas are places where no child sex abuse ever happens.”
