THIRUVANANTHAPURAM :  Thousands
of RSS & BJP activists today took out a protest march to the Raj
Bhavan against the killings of four Swayamsevaks by CPI(M) criminals in
Thalassery in the last three days. Hindu organization leaders sought
the Governor’s immediate intervention in restoring peace in the
district.

In
a memorandum submitted to Governor R L Bhatia, RSS-BJP leaders stated
that there was a conspiracy between the CPI(M)-led government and the
police in protecting the culprits.

RSS Prantiya Saha Karyavahak N Shankar Ram and BJP state Secretary M T Ramesh led the protesters to Raj Bhavan.

They
sought the intervention of the Governor in maintaining peace in Kannur
district. The CBI should be asked to probe the role of senior CPI(M)
leaders who had organised the crimes with the help of the police,” the
memorandum said.

The BJP will react strongly if the CPI(M) continued to stir violence in the area, it said.
