Suddhi begins at Guruvayur
GURUVAYUR: The monthly ‘suddhi’ (purification) ritual at the shrines of Sree Guruvayurappan, Sree Bhagavathy, Lord Ayyappa and Lord Ganesh at Sree Krishna temple here began on Saturday. It will conclude on May 10.
There will be some restrictions at the shrines when suddhi is performed. The suddhi at the Ayyappa temple was performed on Saturday and it will be conducted at Sree Bhagavathy temple on Sunday.
The ritual will be continued on Tuesday and Wednesday for the other shrines. Udayasthamana pooja will be performed on Monday, said temple manager Vijayan Nambiar.Cricketer Sreesanth and Inspector-General of Police M N Krishnamoorthy also had darsan at the temple
