The attack by students, backed by whatever organisation, is an infringement on the rights of the lecturer and should be condemned,†a joint statement issued by Vishnunarayanan Namboothiri, Sugathakumari, B Hridayakumari, N Paramasivan Nair, Kainakari Janardhanan, KR Nandakumar and J Ramachandran Nair, said.
