Flag hoisted for Sree Krishna Jayanthi celebrations
Thiruvananthapuram: Under Balagokulam, Kerala Hindus are all set for this years Sree Krishna Jayanthi celebrations.
Flag hoisting for marking the celebration was done yesterday all over Kerala by kids in Bhajana Sangh of Balagokulam. Later ‘Gomatha Pooja’ was conducted in all the main temples.
Cultural programs were arranged in Gandhi Park. Promenent dancer Thara Kalyan and cine artist R. Subbalakshmi inaugurated the functions. N. Harindran conducted the main speech.
Padmasri Adoor Gopalakrishnan will inaugurate the ‘Vilambaram Ghoshayatra’ tomorrow.
Mahashobayatra is on 14th of this month. Various organisers are engaged in arranging the final touches for the Shobhayatra.
