Ayyappa Unity Movement to hold study camps

T’PURAM: The Ayyappa Unity Movement will hold 50 study camps for the propagation of Ayyappa dharmam during the Sabarimala pilgrimage season.

Ayyappa Unity Movement general secretary Swami Ayyappa Das told a news conference here on Tuesday that the study camps beginning on November 19 would be inaugurated by Utradam Thirunal Marthanda Varma at Naniyode Sri Dharma Shastha temple.

“The study camps are aimed at creating awareness among pilgrims about the spiritual and religious importance of Sabarimala pilgrimage and rites conducted as part of it,” Swami Ayyappa Das said.

On successful completion, participants of the study camps will be given certificates signed by the Sabarimala tantri, Swami Ayyappa Das said.
