Kochi: A temple to pay homage for our ancestors is being constructed here. The temple named Lokasthoopa Mahakshetram is 108 ft tall and is devoted towards worshipping the param mukhthi chaitanyam. The desavilambara ceremony of this was done by Sri Kummanam Rajasekharan. The sthoopa will be designed with 1 lakh heads representing all the living beings in the earth.

Worshipping and offering shradham for the deceased is considered one of the most important rituals among Hindus. It is believed that the results of the karma in day to day life won’t be there if the shradham or pithru tharpanam is not done. The significance of such a temple arises out of the need for offering such rituals in today’s world. This temple will be a place to provide mukhti to all deceased and there by offering blessings to the next generation and new born
