Coins arranged systematically in hundi

GURUVAYUR: The well-arranged display of coins deposited in the hundi placed in front of Lord Ganesha idol installed at the former devaswom office compound adjacent to Melapthur auditorium turned a wonder to the devotees here on Tuesday.
The devawom officals had opened the hundi at the Ganesha shrine on Tuesday and observed that the coins were systematically arranged inside the hundi. Hearing the news, hundreds of devotees rushed to the shrine to have a look at the scene.
The divinity of this Ganesha idol was specially mentioned by the astrologers during the devaprasnam held at Sree Krishna temple recently. Narasimha avatar of Mahavishnu is sculptured on the back side of the idol.
