Vaikathashtami begins

KOTTAYAM: The famous Vaikathashtami, a twelve-day festival of the Mahadeva temple began here this morning. Thousands are expected for the sadya which would be held this afternoon at the Oottuppura of the temple. Ezhunallappu of Vaikathappan for the ashtami villakku, the main function, will be held at 10 pm this night.
