ALUVA: THRIVEDIKA Yajnam, a unique ritual for the peace, prosperity and well-being of the humanity will be conducted for the first time at Theerthapadamandapam, near Sree Padmanabha Swami Temple in Thiruvananthapuram.

The 11-day long Yajnam, which is being organised by the Dwapara Thrivedika Yanjna Nirvahaka Samithi, Palarivattom, will begin on May 15.

Brahmasree Sagari Gopalakrishna Samaga (Uduppi), the main celebrant, assisted by Brahmasree N Sreenivasan Embran, will lead 105 Vedic scholars from Uduppi to perform the Yajnam. Spiritual process of three Vedas namely Rigveda, Yajurveda and Samaveda will be offered in the Yajnam.New inventions and change of lifestyle pose a serious threat to the existence of humanity, said Samithi general secretary V C Vijayakumar.

Anti-social activities are on the rise. Injustice and vices prevail and dominate in society. The recurring natural calamities warn of some great disaster, said V C Vijayakumar.

The organisers said that the Yajnams will have a miraculous impact on the society. The energy formed while conducting the Yajnam will prevent all kinds of danger.
