  “Indian Express” news report by    C V Ramachandra    about *Jayateertha Vodyapeetaha* for traditional Vedic education ,  in Bangalore .

 It is run by Uttaradi Mutt belonging to Sri Madhavacharya’s Dwaita tradition . Free education , food and accommodation plus even financial assistance to their families  are given to the students . It has branches in Hubli Raichur, Chennai, Tirukoilur and Hyderabad .

Such Institutions for the   promotion of Vedic education is the dearest offering to Bhagavan Sri Krishna .  May this be an eye-opener to all those wealthy  Bhaktas who are determined to serve Bhagavan  .

BANGALORE: In an age when being selected for prestigious foreign educational institutions, including those belonging to the Ivy League, is becoming the life goal of more and more students, one would have thought that institutions teaching traditional knowledge are passe. But a visit to the Jayateertha Vidyapeetha will belie such notions and prove that studies of ancient Indian texts are alive and kicking, even in a ‘modern’ city like Bangalore.
