Mohanlal to flag off ‘Chintoddeepanayatra’

KOCHI: The second edition of the awareness campaign against terrorism ‘Chintoddeepanayatra’ organised by Act for Humanity will be flagged off by actor Mohanlal at 2 p.m. near the vegetable market at Maradu on Thursday.
Mohanlal is also the goodwill ambassador of Act for Humanity.
Odi s s iya footwear chai rman Shashidharan, who is sponsoring the programme, will also join the actor in flagging off the campaign, a statement said.
The march will pass through the 14 districts and will culminate at Kasargod on April 21.The march is part of a campaign to create awareness among the people to fight the scourge of terrorism.A book titled ‘Prathirodhapathangal’ will be released and one lakh copies of pledge against terrorism will be distributed on the occasion.
