5 seats for BJP : Asianet and C-FOR survey

Thiruvananathapuram: An opinion survey conducted by Asianet TV and C-FOR, a research organisation, Tuesday night predicted a victory for BJP in 5 seats of state assembly election.

The survey predicted 18% vote for BJP first time in the history of Kerala assembly election.

According to the survey, 77 to 87 seats for the UDF, which will get a 43 percent vote share, and 53 seats to 63 seats for the ruling Left Democratic Front, which will get 39 percent votes.

Anchoring the TV programme was its chief T.N. Gopakumar who said this was based on a survey done between Feb 27 and March 7 in 200 towns and 600 villages.

The opinion survey also found that 18 percent of those surveyed were yet to decide on whom to vote for.
