Kochi: 1200 Crore Rupees worth, 494 Acres of Temple land under Travancore Devaswom Board is now in the hands of Encroachers!, Revealed Devaswom land Special officer B.V.Jyothi Babu in front of Justice Paripoornan commission.

The Temple land has been encroached by both Government and individuals. Land of 13 Temples has been sold to various individuals by Devaswom officers by accepting bribe with politicians as middle men.

There are 1207 Temples under TDB, As per records there should be 2248 Acres of land attached with these Temples. But as per Survey conducted in 2001 there is only 1754 Acres of land left.

Even after noticing the discrepancy no enquiry has been ordered by the Government yet.Corrupt Politicians nominated into Temple committees and Devaswom officers are responsible for this looting of Temple land.

Instead of looking into such grave issues, Government is trying to distract public’s attention by creating controversies regarding Temples and Rituals.

Government control of Hindu Temples has only created hardships and huge loss to Hindus and Temples. The demand to give back all the Temples back to Hindus is falling on deaf ears. All Hindus should realize this shrewd agenda of Pseudo secular political parties and strengthen the Hindu organizations which are fighting to regain our temples and restore the Hindu Pride.
