Kochi: CBI submitted charge sheet in a murder case in which a Christian Priest – Father Varghese Thekkekara is the first accused. If he was a laymen by this time the accussed will be under custody. But being Christian Priest some invisible hands are preventing the CBI from arresting the murderer.

Malankara Varghese was killed by Professional Killers on December 5, 2002.The fight over power ,property and money between Malankara Orthodox Church and Syrian Orthodox Church lead to the murder of Varghese who was then Managing Committee members of Malankara Orthodox Church. It was Father Varghese who hired the professional killers.

As usual this case was also handed over to CBI as the hands of  Kerala Police are tied from arresting or investigating such high profile community leaders.
