Witness to Kannur murders dies of heart attack

A person who witnessed the murder of two BJP workers by CPM men died of heart attack at Thalassery yesterday. Apparently, the savagery of the attack was too much for Sujith(34) who on witnessing the attack fell unconscious. Though he was taken to the Pallur primary medical center and after that to the Tellichery hospital, he died on the way. The murders which took place in broad daylight on the public road sent shockwaves through the town.

Sujith, who was an employee at the Ashwathy timbers at Newmahe was to get married on the 28th of next month. The son of Govindan, he is survived by his brothers Sudhakaran, Sudhish and Suresh and sister Sheeba.
