Palakkad: Hindu organisations in Palakkad liberated seven temples managed by Malabar Devaswom Board in response to Government move to take over Palakkad Anjaneya Temple by force. Sending clear signals to Government officials Hindu devotees in hundreds protected Anjaneya temple by shielding protective layers around the temple since the day Malabar Devaswom Authorities tried to take over temple. The road leading to temple were blocked with lighted lamps leaving way for devotees who thronged the temple for darsan.

Vadakkanthara Thirupuraykkal Bhagavathy temple, Yakkara Mannapulli Bhagavathy temple, Kalekulangara Bhagavathy temple, Valiyangadi Karnnakiyamman Temple, Moothanthara Kachanamkulam Temple, Pallipuram Siva Temple and Chinakkathur kavu Temple were liberated by devotees from the clutches of Malabar devaswom.

Hindu organisations are getting exemplary support from devotees. The participation of women and children in large numbers to protect the temple which they keep close to their heart and to liberate those occupied by Government stooges is a clear indication of an upcoming revolution across Kerala.

Government control in temples should be made National issue as Government looting temple by leaving churches and mosques for Christians and Muslims to manage is a clear violation and discrimination of the basic rights of Hindus.
