ALUVA: In an attempt to create enmity among the religious groups, posters were pasted in different parts of Aluva, including the walls of the offices of Police Superintendent and Assistant Police Superintendent Sunday night, police said.

The posters allegedly pasted by Popular Front of India (PFI) claimed that Hindutwa outfits were behind the bomb explosions and terrorist activities.

Police believed that the posters would have been pasted Sunday night, which were removed by then Monday.

Aluva Police registered a case against PFI leader for the offence under IPC 153 A (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religions, race, place of birth, residence and language and doing acts prejudicial to maintenance of harmony).

A detailed investigation was launched to find out source, motive and those who were behind the publication of posters, police added.

Most of the accused in the lecturer attack case were nabbed from Aluva and nearby areas.
