CBI arrested Madani’s close aide who evaded arrest for 17 years
Bangalore:: CBI arrested PDP leader and close associate of terorist Abdul Nasser Madani , C K Abdul Azeez from Bangalore. He is in the wanted list. He is one of the prime accussed in a bank fraud case in1993.A non-bailable warrant was earlier issued against him.He was evading the arrest ever since due to the political clout of his jihadi organisation.
He was involved in stealthily removing DD book from Bank of India, D.N. Road branch and another from Bank of Maharashtra, Ghatkopar East branch, Mumbai. Out of the stolen DD book of Bank of Maharashtra 5 DDs for Rs.48.03 lakhs were forged and fraudulently attempted to encash through properly introduced fictitious accounts at Bank of Maharashtra, Madurai. Out of the DD book stolen from Bank of India 10 DDs were forged to the tune of Rs.94.95 lakhs to which 9 DDs amounting to Rs.38,35,800/- was withdrawn through the fictitious account opened in Canara Bank, Ramnad Road Branch.
Abdul Azeez was arrested from Bangalore over past few months , arranging the Jihadi net work for Madni in Karnataka. He appeared in various Malayalam channels as part of Panel discussions. Thanks to timely alert of Bangalore Police, CBI nabbed him after 17 long years. This once again proves the attitude of Kerala Government towards Jihadi terrorists who help them in elections.
