Post Poll Analysis – Best ever performance by BJP in Kerala
Following are the votes gained by BJP candidates in their stronghold – Although BJP could not win , the high vote share captured by the party in highly polarised Kerala soceity is indeed a good indicator for the optimistic Hindu soceity. Consolidation of minority votes against BJP is one of the prime reason for it’s failure , where arch rivals LDF – UDF candidates cross voted to ensure the defeat of BJP .

Kasargod
N A Nellikkunnu- UDF – 53068
Jayalakshmi Bhatt – BJP – 43330
Azeez Kadappuram – LDF – 16467

Manjeswaram
Abdul Razak – UDF – 49817
K Surendran – BJP – 43989
CH Kunhambu – LDF – 35067
Verdict – LDF Vote to UDF
In general the trends in these constituencies shows that – Inspite of constant vilification campaign against BJP – There are voters who came around in enmasse to vote for the saffron party. The dedicated work by BJP activists with the support of Sangh pariwar organisations is for sure making a good impact , which has already send shivers in the spine of Anti Hindus. Slowly but surely BJP is making inroads into the psyche of Kerala soceity and the high vote share gained by the party in these places is an indication of the same.  Â
