Kerala Congress and Gandhiji’s Assasination

via HK published on August 4, 2011

It is known to any concerned citizen that Nehru and the Congress party wanted to tarnish RSS in post independent India by imprecating this age old voluntary organization with Gandhi’s Assasination. It was Nehru who made a statement to the nation immediately after the assassination that Gandhi was gunned down by a member from RSS. That hasty statement before any investigation or evidence aroused wide spread criticism which compelled Nehru to write a formal letter to then internal affairs minister Sardar Patel to order for an enquiry. After prolonged enquiry and investigation, Sardar Patel reported to Nehru that the RSS had no involvement in the murder. Following this, the ban imposed on RSS after Gandhi’s assassination was removed and they were allowed to go ahead with their normal activities. It is worth mentioning here that, RSS was considered and treated like a national cadre caring for the sovereignty of this country and the RSS contingents were allowed to participate in Independence day march past in New Delhi.

Justice K.V. Thomas was only reiterating this known fact when he said that RSS had no involvement in Gandhi’s Assasination.. But the young congress leaders like Ramesh Chennithala and Vishnu Nath could not bear that statement. They are now bending upon to flare up this issue. The minority communities have no concern for these issues, but the young congress leaders in the waiting for key positions in their over enthusiasm to please the almighty leader Sonia have even demanded an apology from the honest Supreme Court judge K.T.Thomas.

In response to such statements from KPCC President Ramesh Chennithala, Hindu Aikyavedi led a march to his residence and office at Haripad and they set fire to his effigy. They demanded an apology from Ramesh Chennithala for his misleading statement since three different commission appointed in connection with Gandhi’s assassination has not mentioned about RSS involvement in the murder; thereby such statements from responsible congress leaders definitely with ulterior motives.
