Yuvamorcha demolished Toll booths in Pampa

Pampa :Exploitation of  Sabarimala Pilgrims is a common agenda followed by alternate Government’s which rule the state every 5 year.

Hundreds of Yuvamorcha activists under the leadership of it’ sstate leaders stormed the Toll booths yesterday which charge exhorbitant amounts from Pilgrims in Pampa – Chalakayam Road.

Toll booths were demolished by Yuvamorcha activists, as repeated requests to authorities couldn’t fetch any positive action.

Two persons were injured when the protest march taken out by Yuva Morcha volunteers at Chalakayam toll gate turned violent.  

Hundreds of Morcha volunteers led by state president V V Rajesh, general secretary K Sudheer, secretary K Binumon and district president P Unnikrishnan led the the agitation.

After the agitation, Morch state president V V Rajesh said the agitation would continue till the the TDB gave up the toll collection from pilgrim vehicles.

Meanwhile, TDB had resumed toll collection at Chalakkyam with police protection, later, in the afternoon.
