Don’t call it Love Jihad … They won’t like it

These two cases are reported on the same day 15 Dec 2011 in a inside page column of  Malayalam daily – Mathrubhumi

Thenipalam: Police arrested Three Jihadis – Dulshad(28), Nadirsha (30) and Jamaludeen (55) here. Thanks to timely intervention of Police – Kidnap attempt of a 18 year old girl was thwarted. Jihadis lured this girl who is from Kasargod district over mobile phone and came all the way from Thiruvananthapuram to kidnap this girl.

Kozhikode: Police arrested another Jihadi Romeo – Jabir(34), native of Mallapuram, in connection with sexual abuse and blackmail of a girl in her twenties. He took the photos of her secretly while bathing and was blackmailing and abusing her. He took her to his own home in Pookotoor and forced her to convert to Islam. His brother is also said top be involved in the torture. The girl is a native of Kottayam district.     

.. Like this daily there are similar reports which gets unnoticed and termed as  isolated incidents. Even after Kerala Police and Kerala Highcourt agreed to the proof provided by Hindu and Christian organisations with regard to Love Jihad – They later backtracked from it .
