NSS extends support to O Rajagopal, Media blacks out this significant development

ALAPPUZHA : While the Kerala media has reported NSS will continue equi-distance policy during Neyyattinkara election, confirmed sources said NSS clearly told the BJP candidate of Neyyanttinkara O Rajagopalji that they will fully support him during the by-election. While both LDF and UDF are fielding Christian candidates, Natural choice of impartial Hindus will be the man of integrity – Shri O Rajagopal, observes political pundits.

As expected, O. Rajagopal’s meeting with NSS General Secretary Sukumaran Nair and the support extended by NSS was blacked out by the media for obvious reasons.Apart from Amrita TV no other channel gave significance to this change in the attitude of NSS’s equidistant policy between two major political fronts LDF and UDF.Earlier NSS General Secretary has warned Congress party leaders not to visit Perunna, their headquarters for any discussion.

The decision of NSS is a positive step towards the future of Hindu society in Kerala. In next couple of days O. Rajagopal is planning to meet SNDP General Secretary Vellappally Nateshan and a dozen of other prominent Hindu organization leaders seeking their support.
