Counterfeit Indian notes worth 44 lakhs seized from Perumbavoor, two arrested

Two persons have been arrested in Perumbavoor in connection with a counterfeit Indian currency racket. The arrested persons, identified as Kunju Mohammed and Al Ameen were arrested from the KSRTC bus stand. The duo were arrested while being engaged in a transaction.

According to police, vigil was stepped up in the KSRTC bus stand, following a tip off. Police nabbed the duo, while Al Ameen, hailing from Coimbatore handed over the notes to Kunju Mohammed, hailing from Perumbavoor.
