Patron of Thiruvaranmula Paithrikagrama Samrakshana Samithi Kummanam Rajashekharan has sought a probe into the proprietors of Aranmula Airport project, the KGS Group. He has also sought an inquiry into the role of TKA Nair, advisor of the Prime Minister for alleged behind the screen operations in the project.

Addressing media yesterday, Kummanam called for a “comprehensive and high level investigation” into the “financial sources, political connections and land deals of the KGS Group”.

“Since the land scam connected with the airport project is one of the biggest in recent decades, a comprehensive probe should be ordered. The services of expert and Central agencies like CBI, Enforcement or Central Vigilance Commission must be engaged to probe the shady deals of the KGS Group,” said Kummanam Rajashekharan.

Kummanam has also sought to know the role of TKA Nair, the advisor of the Prime Minister and a native of Aranmula, into alleged “behind the screen operations for the airport project.”

According to Kummanam, “Prime Minister’s advisor TKA Nair is allegedly behind the reference of Aranmula airport project in the Presidential address.”
