“Hinduism’s inclusiveness led to bloom of Islam and Christianity in India” Aryadan Mohammed

Hailing the accommodating and all inclusive nature of Hinduism, Minister for Electricity and Transport, Aryadan Mohammed has said that this has been the sole reason why other faiths bloomed in India. The minister was addressing the audience at the inaugural function of Rashtra Reksha Sammelan, a programme organized by Hindu Maha Sammelan under the auspices of Hindu Dharma Sammelan in Ananthapuri.

“If Hinduism’s nature had not be the way it is, religions like Christianity and Islam would never have survived here,” said the minister.

“The siddhantha of Advaitham propagated by Adi Shankaran is what has been holding together the Indian fabric. Its sustenance is vital for everyone’s survival, including me,” he said.

“The reason why I decided to participate in this programme is because of the profound respect I have towards Hindusim. My ancestors were in fact Hindus. In fact, if you walk down history, you would see that each of our ancestors have been Hindus,” he said.

“I don’t guage HInduism the way I see other religions. Its a way of living and a culture by itself. Hindusim in fact has the strength to overcome the attitude that causes a split in mankind,” said Aryadan Mohammed.

Eminent personalities like BJP leader O Rajagopal, former director of Indian Coastguard Dr. Prabhakar Paleri, former editor of Kesari R Sanjayan, Professor MS Ramesh, Councillor P Ashok Kumar, M Gopalan, VJ Shaju spoke at the function.
