Chandrika Editorial – Muslim League’s war cry against Hindu unity

published on June 2, 2013

Kozhikode: Over the past several years HK have criticized both NSS and SNDP for their Anti Hindu stance and lack of unity for the cause of marginalized Hindus in Kerala. Call for Hindu unity by SNDP and NSS came at that juncture keeping aside their traditional political and other petty differences. When ever NSS and SNDP and NSS came together for the wider cause of Hindus, the Anti Hindu pressure groups headed by Kerala Congress and Muslim league have succeeded until now to create a dent among them. But this time NSS and SNDP leaders seems to recognize the attempts by these pressure groups to divide them and have shown the intellect not to fall in the pits dig by the enemies.

Because of this show of unity within these two prominent as expected the Minorities in Kerala who control the power caucus in Thiruvananthapuram from Mallapuram started showing their true colour. Forgetting the wholehearted support they received from in past elections Muslim league through their mouth piece Chandrika , has slammed the Nair Service Society for the recent pro Hindu stand taken by the organization along with SNDP.

In a strongly worded editorial, Chandrika has ridiculed NSS General Secretary G Sukumaran Nair as ‘the new Commander’ adding that “conspiracies and behind the scene moves bloomed after Sukumaran Nair took over as General Secretary.” The editorial also accuses him of toeing the “RSS line” in most of the policy matters.

“Substandard, done with the blessings of Chief Minister,” was the response of G Sukumaran Nair, to the editorial. ridiculing him and the NSS.”I know how to react in strong terms, but right now, i refrain from doing so,” the NSS General Secretary said. “It was cheap on their part to ridicule the NSS. There is no reprieve for that. We know who is behind this, and what their motto is. We don’t need anyone’s support to tide over the crisis,” he added.
