6-Member Team Begins Auditing Padmanabhaswamy Temple Assets.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A six-member team formed by former CAG Vinod Rai has started auditing the assets and accounts of Sree Padamanabhaswamy Temple here on Wednesday.

The process follows the Supreme Court directive to audit the revenue and accounts of the temple for the past 25 years.

The team members are retired officials of the Accountant-General’s office. Rai has given a list of required documents to the temple administration committee and the royal family.

“The administration committee has been asked to submit the bank accounts and revenue receipts, including donations, of the past 25 years,” temple executive officer K N Satheesh said.
