Promote New Ventures to Ensure Hindu Financial Prosperity: G Madhavan Nair.

published on July 9, 2014
Former ISRO Chairman G Madhavan Nair has called for new ventures that will ensure the Hindu community’s financial prosperity.  Addressing the Thiruvananthapuram chapter of Hindu Economic Forum at its inaugural function, Madhavan Nair said that Hindu youths are focusing only on employment aspect, without having the zeal to start new ventures.

“There is incompetence for youths who graduate out of engineering colleges. The scenario is such that they have to be given special training. This, however, has to be looked into and resolved. Hindu youths should be encouraged to start new ventures. Special methods should be chalked out and implemented to ensure success in this aspect.

“Today business ventures do not stick to ethics. The prime cause for this is an overwhelming sense of greed that has engulfed us. Even politicians, for petty gains in elections, make way for corrupt practices, just to garner money. The Hindu Economic Forum should keep these aspects at a distance and ensure healthy and positive growth. Bharat, where Hindu culture bloomed and grew and exists, is the Hindu’s own land. It is because of the magnanimity of Hindus that other cultures and religions set foot on our soil and flourished here. However, today, even the word ‘Hindu’ is becoming insignificant. The Hindu is being stifled today. 80% of the land’s population consists of Hindus. But, more than half of the population today struggles for even a single meal. Organizations like Hindu Economic Forum should strive towards finding a plausible solution towards these issues,” he said.
