Former RSS Kochi Mahanagar Sanghchalak Sreepathy Rao passed away.

Former RSS Kochi Mahanagar Sanghchalak Sreepathy Rao is no more. He was 87. Rao is survived by his wife Janaki and children.
Sreepathy Rao, a member of Thulu Brahmin Welfare Association was the owner of Sreekrishna Café Hotel in Kochi. Born in Chitoor, Palakkad, Rao reached Kochi when his father moved to Mattanchery for business purposes.
Having joined RSS during his school days, he was an active participant during the period when a ban was placed on Sangh in 1948 and during Emergency period. Guruji Golwalkar is said to have stayed in Rao’s residence during his visit to Kochi.
