Muslim League Wary about Marad Conspiracy Coming to Light: BJP

published on September 14, 2014

President of BJP Kerala, V Muraleedharan has remarked that the dissent being shown by Muslim League in CBI’s handling of Manoj murder case is a reflection of their wariness in the truth, not only about Marad Massacre coming to light but of their own faces peddling terror. Recently leaders of Hindu Aikya Vedi had a meeting with Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, where the need for a centralized agency conducting an inquiry into Marad Massacre was stressed on.

“Many UDF-Muslim League leaders have a hand in Marad Massacre. If a CBI inquiry is conducted, the face of terrorism held by League so far hidden by them, will come to light. However, the Muslim League had taken a stand that there need be no investigation into the conspiracy behind Marad Massacre. Same is the stand taken by CPM. It only brings to light the bonding between birds of the same feather- the CPM and League. There have been several instances where CPM has stood by Muslim League in their activities and dealings related to terror peddling. It only shows the give and take policy behind their transactions,” said Muraleedharan at a recently held press conference.

“The conspiracy behind Marad Massacre has not seen the light. An inquiry commission headed by Justice Thomas P Joseph, along with a directive from High Court had made mandatory, the conducting of an inquiry into matter. It is the public’s demand that the conspiracy behind Marad Massacre be unveiled. The stand taken by League shows a desperate effort in thwarting this demand from public. The League is wary of execution of this directive and so they felt the need to oppose tooth and nail, the handing over of Manoj murder case to the CBI,” added Muraleedharan

Reiterating that the Congress leadership should clarify on League’s stand, he said, “The stand taken by League questions the Govt’s decision in handing over Manoj murder case to the CBI. It is evident that the collective responsibility of government and the stands lost. The Chief Minister and KPCC leadership should jointly clarify their stand on this questioning of Govt. decision by League.”
