CPM all set to capture temples under Cochin Devaswom Board

published on October 17, 2014

Trissur: There is an intense clamour for grabbing the advisory posts in Cochin Devaswom Board and those that are making a beeline in hope of grabbing the same are none but Marxist party members. Things have reached a stage where application forms are now being sought by people from far and wide, for covetable posts in temples- relatively lesser known temples and famous abodes of Trissur, Ernakulam, Palakkad etc.

According to sources, Marxist members are buying applications forms through proxy, by bringing in people registered in Employment assurance scheme from coastal areas of Trissur. They are also resorting to a malicious propaganda of getting women enrolled in their party, on the pretext of securing jobs in Devaswom Boards. Sources state that temples have now received thousands of application forms following the Marxists’ clamour, all for a mere 22 post vacancy.

Executive members in temples are selected via draw. Board members will include covetable posts like that of Devaswom Board President etc.
