The End that Awaits CPM in Kerala will be Abyssmal: Jesus Sambashivan 

Kollam: Jesus Sambashivan, son of V Sambashivan the well known Marxist leader of Kerala has stated that the prime cause of the abysmal state that has befallen the Marxist party are the strings pulled by Kannur lobby, which includes Pinarayi Vijayan. The statement came when Jesus joined Bharatiya Janata Party at the function organized commemorating the martyrdom of Jayakrishnan Master.

Referring to the phase of sluggish developmental activities being faced by Kerala, Jesus said that the Marxist party was responsible for the same. “Kerala has no significance in the Parliament. The Marxist party is responsible for the dismal scenario. This will have a deep impact on the developmental activities of the state. But the BJP can definitely set things right if they plunge forward in the right direction. Wait and watch- just as the party saw curtains down in West Bengal, after their rule of 35 years, Kerala too will witness a wretched end to the party’s existence,” he said.

Condemning the Marist activities as “remonstrations for the sake of petty political adjustments and controversial noisy scenarios”, Jesus said that the Marxist party has done nothing for the land’s progress or uplift of poverty stricken people. “I would have proclaimed anywhere that the party has an element of goodness in it, if party bigwigs had spent the same amount currently spent on shielding those allegedly involved in the murder of TP Chandrashekharan, in building shelters for those who are poor and homeless.”

Referring to Marxist bigwig Pinarayi as an autocrat, Jesus said that “the stand taken by him after assumption of party leadership has made many do a rethink. Majority of the party members are dismayed and apprehensive with the way he has been steering the party through. The current phase of devastation being faced by the party is because of the attitude donned by the Kannur lobby which has people like Pinarayi Vijayan in it.”

Accusing the Marxist party of having spread canards about Prime Minister Narendra Modi and creating a fear psychosis about him in the minds of certain sections of people, Jesus said that the same has to come to an end. “People of Kerala are on a path of rethinking. This will be clearly reflected in the local body elections of 2015 and state assembly elections of 2016.”

Terming Prime Minister Narendra Modi as one who has proved to be an able administrator and ideal politician in a very short span of time, he said “Malayalis will soon give their support for the lotus symbol as they have recognized him.”

Deliberating on the tenure of Narendra Modi as Chief Minister of Gujarat, he said that the progress made by the state under his stalwart leadership is incomparable and matchless. There is a confirmed widespread belief that the same progress will be seen in the entire nation as well.

Jesus is the third of Sambashivan’s five children. Apart from Sambashivan, others who migrated to the party from CPM, CPI, RSP and Congress were accorded a warm welcome by BJP state general secretary. The welcoming ceremony was part of the Jan Shakthi Sangamam held on the day of martyrdom of Jayakrishnan Master.
