Muslim League leader force-kisses lady sleeping on train

 KOLLAM: A league leader who force-kissed a lady who was sleeping on a train was caught by her-co-passengers and turned in to the police. The accused is Rahmathullah (39) from Kalikkavu in Malappuram.   
 
The incident happened at around 12:55 am on the Thiruvananthapuram-Nilamboor Amritha Rajarani Express, when it approached Chengannoor. Rehmathullah kissed  the lady who was a passenger in the SN1 coach. A nurse by profession, the lady was returning from Thiruvananthapuram to her hometown in Malappuram, after paying a visit to her ailing relative.   
 
Rahmathullah, who was reportedly in inebriated condition, sat near the lady’s berth and kissed her when otherd in the compartment had slid to deep sleep. The girl who woke up was shocked to see the stranger and raised alarm. The passengers who crowded around the duo handed him over to the railway police.
 
The man even tried to threaten the police and the passengers, saying, he was an influential  League leader.  Police later filed a case against him based on the girl’s complaint. While questioning, he said he is League’s Panchayat Committee president.
