Christian devotional songs to initiate Umman Chandy’s Govt Meeting

Kochi: The Oommen Chandy government has stirred yet another communal controversy by initiating the meet for government Advocates with a Christian prayer song.
The meet held in Kochi to discuss the criticism that arose from High Court against Advocate General Office, commenced with the Christian prayers song ‘nitya vishuddhayam kanya mariamâ€.
The song which is usually sung in Churches has yet again, very clearly exposed the government’s agenda of minority appeasement.
The meeting conducted in Bolgatty Palace was headed by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and finance minister KM Mani.
