Thanku Pastor, the Sponsor of Marxist Seminar: Vellappilly

Alappuzha: SNDP general secretary Vellappilly Natesan has alleged that the recent spate of seminars conducted by CPM under the banner of ‘anti-communalism’, which are in fact aimed at maligning SNDP have been sponsored by notorious persons like evangelist Thanku Pastor.

“Thanku Pastor is a person who spearheaded the drive to convert many Ezhavas and others belonging to backward communities to Christianity, using deceitful and fraudulent means. It should be borne in mind that these are the kind of people ho have become new found friends of CPM and Pinarayi Vijayan,” said Vellappilly while inaugurating the training camp of SNDP Ambalapuzha unit.

Flaying CPM as the largest communal party of Kerala, Vellappilly said that “Pinarayi Vijayan was in the practice of making remarks such as ‘wretched creatures’ and later begging before Bishops and abusing Muslim League and then seeking assistance from INL. Such a political party is talking of virtue! The Marxists have done nothing but swindle the majority community and hand over what rightfully has belonged to them, to those of minority communities.”
