Palakkad:Civic body Vice chairman files appeal

Kochi, Nov 23
Palakkad Municipal Council, Vice-Chairman, Mr S R Balasubramanyam filed an appeal against the single bench decision disqualifying him from functioning as the Vice-Chairman of the civic body before the division bench of the High Court.
Contending that the B J P Councilor was not sworn in in accordance with the rule the Single Bench had disqualified him saying that he cannot function as the Vice-Chairman. Based on this the Court had also upheld the state government order removing him from the position
