SNDP General Secretary, Sri. Vellapally Natesan has said that it is high time for the Hindu monks who are guiding the community spiritually to wake up and act.

Speaking at the annual convention of the Sree Ramakrishna Sevashram at Kaloor in the city, Sri. Natesan asked why the Hindu Sannyasins were not convening a meeting of all them of various lineages for hammering out Hindu unity.  ” Each one should realize that unity among the Hindus is their responsibility “, he said.

Alleging that the state government was helping those engaged in proselytizing, Sri. Natesan said that he opposed the proposed Ecosmart City at Sabarimala because it would convert the holy place into another amusement park. Aiming at the destruction of the Hindus, somebody had purposely conceived this project, he alleged and added that he being a believer of temple worship could not remain silent without opposing it.
