‘We are not at all associated with RSSâ€
THIRUVANAMTHAPURAM: Yet another attempt by a section of the media to tarnish the image of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh fell flat with those arrested in connection with the attack on Maraji Bhavan declaring that they were not members of the Sangh. “We are not at all associated with the RSS. We do not have anything to do with the Sangh,†said Krishna Kumar, the leader of the gang who was arrested by the city police following the rampage in the state head quarters of the BJP here.
Krishna Kumar and others who were released on bail told media persons that they were not members of the Sangh. But strangely enough, no media has shown the magnanimity or honesty to telecast or publish the news. “For the media in the capital city, anything anti–RSS is a gold mine. It is the anti-Sangh news which will sell like hot cakes. But the real facts do not find place either in the TV or in newspapers.
Ravi Kumar, district leader of the RSS and Madhu, a senior pracharak, have made it clear on day one itself that none of the attackers who trespassed into the BJP office were Sangh activists.
