Sabarimala Sanctum Sanctorum will be closed on Dec 26 after the Mandala Pooja and thereafter for three days no pilgrims will be permitted to enter Sannidhanam.

This measure is aimed at facilitating the movement of essential goods to the  Sannidhanam and to make adequate arrangements for controlling the heavy crowd when the Sanctum sanctorum is re-opened on Dec 30, official sources said.
