Kochi, Dec 20

The Kerala High Court has ordered a complete re-doing of the new “Thiruvabharanam of the Vaikkathappan” without copper riveting, as it was found to be not made of pure gold. Besides, it was totally different in its “roopa” and “bhava” from the old thiruvabharanam.

The Division Bench comprising of Justice R Bhaskaran an Justice Sasidharan Nambiar, directed G Sreekumar, the Commissioner appointed by the Court to supervise the work in relation to the quality of the gold used for making the thiruvabharanam.

The temple could use the old thiruvabharanam after correcting its minor defects till the new one becomes available
