The UPA government at the Centre is following the policy to appease the minorities and the multinationals at the national level, according to Sri. Vellapally Natesan, General Secretary, SNDP Yogam.

Speaking at the Annual General Meeting of the Yogam in Chertalai, he said that the forestland and power are in the hands of a particular minority while education and industry are controlled by another minority.

When the government is arranging all facilities for undertaking pilgrimage by certain religious groups, it has taken a different attitude towards the majority, he alleged. While the Sabarimala pilgrims are subjected to exploitation, the party forums are made the venue for seeing off those going for Haj, he said.
